Jinshitan Resort is located northeast of downtown Dalian. It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a national geological park. Surrounded by sea on three sides with beautiful scenery, the park features many attractions including Discovery Kingdom Theme Park, Jinshi World Celebrity Wax Museum, Jinshitan Geological Museum, Jinshiyuan Park, and the Ten-Mile Golden Coast.
Dalian Discovery Kingdom Theme Park is located in Jinshitan National Tourist Resort. It is a lake-surrounded theme park covering about 470,000 square meters, adjacent to the Ten-Mile Golden Coast.
Tiger Beach Ocean Park is located in the central seaside area of southern Dalian and is the largest scenic area in the southern city district. It is the largest modern seaside amusement park in China. The park features beautiful natural scenery with mountains and sea complementing each other.
Oriental Venice Water City is located in Dalian Donggang Business District. Modeled after Venice Water City, it is a comprehensive commercial area integrating finance, tourism, business, dining, leisure, and culture. The featured gondola boats cruise among European-style castles, making visitors feel as if they are in a foreign land. The water city's canal is 4 kilometers long, passing through over 200 European-style castles. Along the way are exquisite European buildings, making a stroll through the water city feel like walking on a tree-lined street abroad.
Xinghai Bay is the largest square built since Dalian was established in 1899, named after the bay. The Xinghai Bay scenic area includes Xinghai Square, Xinghai Park, Cross-Sea Bridge, and Sun Asia Ocean World, among other famous attractions. It is one of Dalian's distinctive scenic spots.
